David will reveal what he learned while watching FC Barcelona train in Denmark, while he also gives his thoughts on ball-playing goalkeepers like Ederson and Alisson. And David explains why he thinks Edwin van der Sar – and not Peter Schmeichel – is the best goalkeeper the Premier League has ever seen.

When it comes to goalkeeping, David is well worth listening to.

This is the first part of my interview with Super Kevin Phillips, Sunderland legend and winner of the Golden Boot. Or is that the Golden Shoe?

Kevin once out-scored the best strikers in Europe and I was excited to listen to him describe his thought process in front of goal, and his explanation of the art of finishing includes a wonderful quote from the great Jimmy Greaves.

He also takes us back to his younger days playing right back at non-league Baldock Town, an environment which helped prepare him for life as a professional footballer.

Pat Nevin: Chelsea, Sarri and a Hazard Warning
